EUmies Awards shortlisted building Čoarvemátta, housing the Sámi National Theatre & Sámi High School and Reindeer Herding School: Beaivváš Sámi Našunála Teáhter & Sami joatkkaskuvla ja boazodoalloskuvlais, was presented by Gisle Løkken, 70°N arkitektur, at the Sámi architecture seminar #4 in Girjegumpi, 21 March at Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum, part of "Out & About. Discovering Architecture" program by the EUmies Awards / Fundació Mies van der Rohe.
The seminar also included presentations and participation by Sámi architects Eveliina Sarapää and Trine Hansen along with art historian Elin Haugdal and curator at the Norwegian National Museum Bente Aas Solbakken. Kven architect Hallstein Guthu is the moderator of the following conversation.
Fantastic food was prepared, presented and served by Máret Rávdna Buljo, amazing music by Sara Marielle Gaup, Charlotte Bendix, and Marianne Sihvonen.
