One fin d'hiver sunday afternoon Gisle and Magdalena did a photo trip - in Tromsø.
In the preparations for the Venice Biennale we wanted to make an inventory of the existing and coming architecture.. Subjective choices and grey winter light ended up as a small architecture guide to Tromsø.

Tromsø X-Files
Tromsø X-Files, TXF, aimed to show all the projects in the city centre - in different stages of the planning process, from idea to newly built. By uncovering and showing all these projects the habitants of Tromsø were given the possibility to discover a possible future of their city - and react to it.
In an exhibition that filled the whole entrance hall of the city hall architects' drawings, photographs, posters, films and the large city model was presented during the autumn / winter of 2005/2006. Several events took place around the exhibition; debates, meetings, actions...
The exhibition was part of
Byutviklingens År (the Year of Urban Planning) and created from an idea concept by Knut Eirik Dahl / Byutviklingens År.
