The Skarsfjord cabin is presented as one of the examples of environmentally sustainable cabins and cottages in the book Hytter og miljø written by Chris Butters, Anne Mette Raaholt and Kim Skaara.
At the
release conference the escalating cabin building was discussed and a speech was given by the former Minster of Environment, Helen Bjørnøy.
